How to Create a Cmtyhelp Account
Step 1: Download the App
Download the Cmtyhelp app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Step 2: Sign Up
Open the app and go to the Sign In page. Tap Sign Up if you don’t already have an account.
Step 3: Add a Profile Picture (Optional)
Tap the profile picture icon to upload a photo from your camera or gallery.
Step 4: Enter Your Information
Fill in the following details:
- First and Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Email Address (confirm it)
- Mobile Number
Step 5: Create a Password
Choose a secure password and confirm it.
Step 6: Accept the Terms
Read and accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Step 7: Submit
Tap Continue or Submit to finish creating your account.
How to Join a community
(Not necessary to apply for the scholarship)
You can join one or multiple communities.
From the Home Page, tap Join a community.
Select the community you want to join from the list.
Indicate whether you are affiliated with the community.
Enter your reason for joining.
Tap Submit.
Wait for approval from the community administrators.
How to find the Cmtyhelp Scholarships
Option 1: From the Home Page
Tap the three-line (☰) menu in the top-right corner.
Select Scholarships from the menu.
You will be taken to the Scholarships page.
Option 2: From a Community Page
1. Open the community you are a member of
2. Go to your profile page in the community.
3. Tap the Scholarships tab.
4. You will see scholarships available for that community. If you do not have a scholarship listed, your community does not have one available at the moment.
Applying for a Scholarship
Carefully follow the instructions shown below to complete and submit your application.
How to Apply for the Cmtyhelp scholarship 2025-2026
You can access the scholarship from the Home Page or from your Community Profile Page in the Cmtyhelp app.
Step 1: Get Started
Complete the Applicant Details Form, including:
Personal information
School details
Current school year
Step 2: Complete Your Service Hours
Each scholarship requires a minimum number of community service hours.
Complete the required service hours for your scholarship
Enter the total number of hours completed (rounded to the nearest whole number)
Step 3: Submit Proof of Service
Upload proof showing you completed your service hours. Accepted proof includes:
Cmtyhelp Digital Service Log
Any official service log
A confirmation letter from an authorized person
Authorized individuals may include:
Principal or Vice Principal
Teacher or School Counselor
Volunteer Coordinator
Community Engagement Coordinator
Coach
Scout Leader
Faith-based or nonprofit organization leader
Employer or Supervisor (for approved volunteer work)
Upload instructions:
Upload documents to Google Drive, iCloud, or another cloud platform
Set access to public
Share the link starting with https://
You may submit up to three proof links
Step 4: Upload a Referral Letter
Submit one referral letter from an authorized individual who knows you well and can speak about your character, service, or leadership.
Referral letter may be written by:
Principal or Vice Principal
Teacher or School Counselor
Coach
Volunteer or Community Service Coordinator
Scout Leader
Faith-based leader (pastor, youth leader, etc.)
Employer or Supervisor
Nonprofit or community organization leader
Upload instructions:
Upload the letter to a cloud platform
Set access to public
Share the link starting with https://
Step 5: Submit the Scholarship Essay and/or Video
Scholarships require an essay, a video, or both.
Essay Guidelines:
Answer the scholarship specific question
Maximum 500 words
Upload as a Word or PDF file
Upload to a cloud platform
Set access to public and share the link starting with https://
Video Guidelines:
Maximum 1 minute
Answer the scholarship-specific topic
Upload to YouTube
Set video to public
Share the link starting with https://
Step 6: Review Your Application
Before submitting:
Confirm all information is accurate
Make sure all links open correctly and are set to public
