New Cmtyhelp Scholarships

Cmtyhelp

is thrilled to announce five new scholarships for the first half of 2025, available to middle school (6th, 7th, and 8th graders) and high school (juniors and seniors) students within the St. Clare Church community. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the members of St. Clare Church for their generous donations, which have made these scholarships possible.

To apply, 

High school students (juniors and seniors) must complete a minimum of 75, 50, and 25 service hours, respectively, to be considered for the $1,000, $700, and $250 scholarships. 

Middle school students will need to complete at least 50 and 25 service hours, respectively, to apply for the $500 and $250 scholarships.

 

Please download the Cmtyhelp App on your mobile device and go to the "Scholarship" section in your profile for more details and to begin your application. Select the scholarship section, click "Apply Now" for the scholarships you are interested in, and follow the instructions to complete your application.

How to apply?

Each applicant will need to submit a recommendation letter from a staff member, teacher, volunteer coordinator, or another authoritative figure. Additionally, applicants must provide proof of their completed service hours, which can include the Cmtyhelp service log.

To complete their application, each student must write a 500-word essay or create a 1-minute video (or both) explaining why they deserve the scholarship and detailing the social impact they have made.

Complete the Applicant Details Form

Enter your personal information, school details, and current school year

Service Hours Requirement

  • Applicants must complete the required number of service hours.
    • Enter the total hours completed (rounded).
    • Upload proof of service hours (maximum of 3 files). Accepted formats: PDF or Word.
      • Accepted proofs include:
        • Cmtyhelp Digital Service Log
        • Letter of service completion from an authorized official (Principal, Teacher, Volunteer Coordinator, etc.)

Referral Letter Submission

  • Upload a signed referral letter from an authorized official (e.g., Principal, Teacher, Scout Leader) to a cloud platform (Google Drive or iCloud).
    • Set document access to public and share the link.
    • Ensure the link begins with “https://”.

Essay and/or Video Submission

  • Applicants may submit an essay, a 1-minute video, or both to support their application.
    • Essay Requirements:
      • Max 500 words
      • Upload in Word or PDF format
      • Store on Google Drive or iCloud, set to public access, and share the link
      • Ensure the link begins with “https://”
    • Video Requirements:
      • Max 1 minute
      • Upload to YouTube, set to public access, and share the link
      • Ensure the link begins with “https://”

Final Checklist
