For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Cmtyhelp, includes Cmtyhelp’s website(s), and any of its mobile applications (“Site”) and Cmtyhelp LLC (“Cmtyhelp”, “We” or “Us”). “You” or “Your” refers to you the user of the Site, regardless of whether you a natural person or an entity. Cmtyhelp is an application designed to connect users to each other within their own communities.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
We may collect personal information you voluntarily provide, including:
- Full Name
- Contact information (e.g. email, address, phone number)
- Credit Card Information for processing by a third-party.
- Payment processor ID (e.g. without limitation PayPal).
- Any other information you voluntarily provide to us.
- Participation and activity data. This may include details such as the type of services performed, service hours completed, frequency of participation, and feedback from service requesters (e.g., volunteer coordinators, organizations, community members or community leaders)
- Self-assessments
- Feedback from third parties (e.g., teachers, mentors, volunteer coordinators, community leaders)
- Photos or media you upload
- Service activity details, participation in community programs or scholarships, and service opportunity information, including the location and description of the opportunity posted by the service requester
- Feedback and other app interactions
- Information related to transactions made through participating local businesses, including purchase amounts, receipts uploaded by users, and related verification data submitted through the platform.
We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services available on the Site. These may include: (a) registering for an account on our Site; (b) entering information for a link sponsored by us or one of our partners; (c) signing up for special offers from selected third parties; (d) sending us an email message; (e) submitting your credit card or other payment information for payment processing by a third-party (e.g. without limitation, Stripe, Paypal, etc). To wit, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.
Child Information (Parent Managed Accounts)
If you create an account on behalf of a child under 13, we may collect:
- Child’s full name
- Date of birth
- Participation and activity data
- Self-assessments
- Feedback from third parties (e.g., teachers, mentors, volunteer coordinators, community leaders)
- Photos or videos uploaded by the parent, including videos for scholarship eligibility
- Service activity and program participation, including scholarships and service opportunities posted by service requesters, including their location and description
Users are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide, including self-assessments and submitted feedback, is accurate and appropriate. This information is collected only through a parent or legal guardian account.
Automatically Collected Information
We may automatically collect:
- IP address
- Device type and operating system
- Browser type
- Access times
- Pages viewed
- Referring URLs
Location Information
With your permission, we may collect:
- Approximate or precise location data
- This may include the use of geofencing technologies to determine proximity to local businesses
- Location of the service opportunities
How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the Service
- Create and manage user accounts
- Connect users with local opportunities and businesses
- Track participation and engagement
- Communicate with users
- Enable communication between users, including service requesters and volunteers, through SMS, email, or direct contact using the information provided on the platform.
- Improve and optimize the platform
- Provide customer support
- Comply with legal obligations
- Provide and improve our app and services
- Create service logos and Certificates of Achievements.
- Leadership Boards: Your name, completed services, and service hours are shown.
- Gamification feature through coin collection for services completed.
- We use service activity data to power gamification features, including earning coins for completed services, which can be redeemed for rewards such as gift cards.
- Highlight community activities, service projects, events, scholarships, and service opportunity locations
- Send updates about your account, programs, service opportunities, surveys, scholarships, and other communications (via email or SMS through trusted third-party service providers)
- Promotional Ad / Discount Tracking-Facilitate participation in promotional offers, discounts, and community-based fundraising programs with local businesses, including tracking eligible purchases and calculating associated rewards, discounts, or donations.
- Donation Calculation-Calculate and allocate contributions to nonprofit organizations based on user participation in qualifying transactions with participating businesses.
- Analyze service-related data, including type of services, service hours, frequency of participation, and feedback from service requesters, to support features such as gamification, engagement tracking, and the development of reports and insights (including EQ-related or similar developmental reports).
How We Use Your Child’s Information
We use the information collected for children to:
- Provide and improve the Cmtyhelp platform
- Highlight community service activities, events, scholarships, and service opportunities posted by service requesters
- Display uploaded media (photos/videos) within the app for community posts, service highlights, events, and scholarship-related activities
- Send updates regarding the child’s account, programs, opportunities, or surveys only to the parent/guardian
Photos and Videos Information
By uploading photos or videos, you acknowledge they may include identifiable images of yourself. You consent to Cmtyhelp collecting, using, and displaying this media including photos and videos within the app for community posts, service highlights, events, and scholarships. Media including photos and videos may be visible to other users of the app. Media including photos and videos will not be used for advertising outside the app without additional consent. Media including photos and videos are stored securely and can be removed upon request.
Photos and Videos for Children
Media including photos and videos may include identifiable images of the child. Media including photos and videos are used within the app for community posts, service highlights, events, scholarships, and related programs. Media including photos and videos may be visible to other users within the app. Media including photos and videos will not be used for advertising outside the app without additional parental permission. Media including photos and videos are stored securely and can be removed at any time upon parental request.
Receipt Uploads or Receipt Photos
Users may take a picture of the receipt or upload receipts or transaction records to verify participation in promotional offers or community programs. Users are responsible for ensuring that any sensitive personal or financial information not required for verification is removed or obscured prior to uploading or taking a picture of the receipt.
AI and Data Analysis
Cmtyhelp will use artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies to analyze user data and generate insights, summaries, and reports. This analysis may incorporate service-related data such as service type, hours, participation frequency, and feedback from service requesters. We may use collected data, including participation, assessments, and third-party feedback, to:
- Generate insights about user engagement
- Develop tools that help users showcase their experiences
- Support AI-driven summaries, reports, and character or trait-based insights
Users are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide, including self-assessments and submitted feedback, is accurate and appropriate. The AI-driven summaries and insights will be automated and may not always be accurate or complete. Cmtyhelp’s use of AI does not involve automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on users. Cmtyhelp may analyze user-provided information, including participation data, self-assessments, and feedback from third parties (such as teachers, mentors, volunteer coordinators, and community leaders), to identify patterns, characteristics, or traits related to a user’s activities, engagement, or development.
Reports and Sharing with Third Parties
Cmtyhelp may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or optimize your use of our services and learn more about using a variety of tools including but not limited to artificial intelligence and machine learning applications. All third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Cmtyhelp, and we will make reasonable efforts to ensure they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
Cmtyhelp may disclose potentially personal information and personally identify information to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information to process it on Cmtyhelp’s behalf or to provide services available on the Site and (ii) that have agreed to the best our knowledge not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country or jurisdiction; by using the Site, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.
Cmtyhelp may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Cmtyhelp or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Cmtyhelp; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Cmtyhelp, or the public.
Cmtyhelp may offer features that allow users to generate reports, summaries, or insights based on their participation, activities, self-assessments, and third-party feedback (collectively, “Reports”).These Reports may include information intended to highlight a user’s engagement, experiences, skills, or personal development, and may be generated or supported by artificial intelligence or machine learning technologies.
Users may have the option to share these Reports with third parties, such as:
- Educational institutions (e.g., colleges, schools)
- Employers or potential employers
- Businesses or organizations
- Healthcare or community institutions
- Scholarship or program providers.
User Control and Consent
- Reports are not automatically shared
- Sharing occurs only with the consent of the user, or for users under 13, with parental consent
- Users or parents must take affirmative action to share Reports
- Consent may be withdrawn at any time prior to sharing
- Cmtyhelp does not share Reports or underlying personal data with third parties for their independent use without explicit consent.
- Once shared, the receiving party’s privacy practices will apply.
Informational Nature of Reports and Future Use
Reports generated by Cmtyhelp are intended for informational and developmental purposes only. They are not intended to serve as professional, academic, psychological, or employment evaluations. Cmtyhelp may, in the future, develop features that allow users to share or utilize these Reports with third parties, including but not limited to educational institutions, employers, organizations, or other entities. While such institutions may request or require information as part of their evaluation, application, or participation processes, Cmtyhelp does not independently provide or disclose user data to these institutions. Any such sharing or use of Reports will occur only with the explicit consent and direction of the user, or, in the case of users under the age of 13, with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, in accordance with applicable laws, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).Cmtyhelp will not disclose or provide Reports or underlying personal data to third parties for their independent use without such consent. Cmtyhelp may facilitate the transmission of such information on behalf of the user but does not control or assume responsibility for how third parties use, store, or process the information once it has been shared. Institutions are responsible for their own compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws once the information has been shared.
Sharing of Information
We may share information with:
- Service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processors)
- Contractors and affiliates who need access to perform services
- Other users of the platform, including service requesters and volunteers, where necessary to facilitate coordination of services or activities. This may include sharing contact information such as phone numbers or email addresses when users choose to participate in such interactions.
- Legal authorities when required by law
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale
- Participating local businesses in connection with promotional offers or community programs, limited to information necessary to validate transactions, apply discounts, or fulfill program requirements. We do not share personal information with businesses for their independent marketing purposes without user consent.
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Tracking User Behavior
Cmtyhelp may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within Cmtyhelp whether by desktop or mobile device, to determine what Cmtyhelp services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within Cmtyhelp to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.
Automatically Collected Information
Information about your computer hardware, mobile devices, and software may be automatically collected by Cmtyhelp. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring to website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the CmtyHelp website.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Cmtyhelp website may use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

For example, if you personalize Cmtyhelp pages or subdomains, or register with Cmtyhelp site or services, a cookie helps Cmtyhelp to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same Cmtyhelp website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the CmtyHelp features that you customized.

If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Cmtyhelp services or websites you visit. Location Data and Geofencing
We may use location data:
- Show relevant community service opportunities and local businesses
- Delivering location based content and promotional information
Users can disable location tracking through device settings. Some features may not function properly if disabled. For accounts involving children under 13, location data is used only within the context of a parent-managed account and in accordance with applicable laws.
Web Beacons
We may also use a technology called web beacons to collect general information about your use of our website and your use of special promotions or newsletters. The information we collect by EQ-related or similar developmental reportsweb beacons allows us to statistically monitor the number of people who open our emails. Web beacons also help us to understand the behavior of our customers, members, and visitors.
Business Transfer
If Cmtyhelp, undergoes a Change of Control (as defined herein) your personal information may become an asset to such a transaction. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Cmtyhelp may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy. As used herein, Change of Control means As used herein, “Change of Control” means (i) a consolidation or merger of Cmtyhelp with or into any other corporation or other entity or person, or any other corporate reorganization, other than any such consolidation, merger or reorganization in which the shares of capital stock of Cmtyhelp immediately prior to such consolidation, merger or reorganization, continue to represent a majority of the voting power of the surviving entity immediately after such consolidation, merger or reorganization; (ii) any transaction or series of related transactions to which CmtyHelp is a party in which in excess of 50% of Cmtyhelp’s voting power is transferred; or (iii) the sale or transfer of all or substantially all of the Cmtyhelp’s assets, or the exclusive license of all or substantially all of Cmtyhelp’s material intellectual property; provided that a Change of Control shall not include any transaction or series of transactions principally for bona fide equity financing purposes in which cash is received by Cmtyhelp or any successor, indebtedness of Cmtyhelp is cancelled, or converted or a combination thereof.

Cmtyhelp is committed to protecting the privacy of children and complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Cmtyhelp does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. Children under 13 are not permitted to create independent accounts on the Service. All accounts involving children under the age of 13 must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. In such cases, the parent or legal guardian is considered the account holder and is responsible for providing consent for the collection, use, and disclosure of the child’s information .If you are under the age of 18, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Parental Rights
Parents or legal guardians of children under 13 have the right to:

Cmtyhelp retains personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including:

Cmtyhelp may contact you via email and, where permitted and with your consent, via text message (SMS) for purposes including, but not limited to, providing service-related announcements, account notifications, confirmations, updates, surveys, and promotional communications.
By providing your phone number and opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive SMS communications from Cmtyhelp. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier.
You may opt out of receiving:

- SMS communications at any time by replying “STOP” to any message or by contacting us at support@cmtyhelp.com
Please note that you may continue to receive non-promotional, service-related communications necessary for the operation of your account.
External Data Storage Sites
Cmtyhelp may store and process your information on servers operated by third-party service providers with whom we have contractual agreements. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to Cmtyhelp and are obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data.
GDPR and Designated Countries Privacy Rights
This Section only applies to Users and Customers of the Services that are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and/or Switzerland (collectively, the “Designated Countries”) at the time of data collection. We may ask you to identify which country you are in when you use some of the Services, or we may rely on your IP address to identify which country you are located in. Where we rely only on your IP address, we cannot apply the terms of this Section to any User or Customer that masks or otherwise obfuscates their location information so as not to appear located in the Designated Countries. If any terms in this Section conflict with other terms contained in this Policy, the terms in this Section shall apply to Users and Customers in the Designated Countries.
Cmtyhelp is a data controller about any personal information collected from Customers or Users of its Services. A “data controller” is an entity that determines the purposes for which and the way any personal information is processed. Any third parties that act as our service providers are “data processors” that handle your personal information in accordance with our instructions.
You may object to our processing at any time and as permitted by applicable law if we process your personal information on the legal basis of consent, contract or legitimate interests. We can continue to process your personal information if it is necessary for the defense of legal claims, or for any other exceptions permitted by applicable law.
If we process your personal information based on a contract with you or based on your consent, or the processing is carried out by automated means, you may request to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to have us transfer your personal information directly to another “controller”, where technically feasible, unless exercise of this right adversely affects the rights and freedoms of others.

You also have a right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority situated in a Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of alleged infringement.
California Consumer Privacy Act of 2019 (CCPA)
The CCPA provides California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information. This section describes your CCPA rights and explains how to exercise those rights.
You have the right to request that CmtyHelp disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request), we will disclose to you: -The categories of personal information we collected about you. -The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you. -Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling that personal information. -The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information. -The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you (also called a data portability request). -If we sold or disclosed your personal information for a business purpose, two separate lists disclosing: sales, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient purchased; and disclosures for a business purpose, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient obtained.
CCPA Deletion Request Rights
You have the right to request that Cmtyhelp delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete (and make reasonable efforts to direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.
We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s):
- Complete the transaction for which we collect the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
- Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.
- Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
- Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law.

- Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when the information’s deletion may likely render impossible or seriously impair the achievement of the research, if you previously provided informed consent.
- Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.
- Comply with a legal obligation.
- Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.
To exercise the access, data portability, and deletion rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by either: Emailing us at support@cmtyhelp.com or sending a letter to us to Cmtyhelp, LLC 344 Grove St, #4085, Jersey City, NJ-07302.
Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.
You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must: Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative. Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
Changes to this Statement
Cmtyhelp reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our site, and/or by updating any privacy information on this page. Your continued use of the Site and/or Services available through this Site after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
