CSAE Policies
Overview
Cmtyhelp is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all its users. We understand the importance of keeping our platform free from Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAE) and other harmful content. The following CSAE policies and standards have been implemented to ensure that the Cmtyhelp platform remains safe, supportive, and compliant with legal requirements.
CSAE Reporting and Blocking Features
Reporting CSAE Material
• All members of Cmtyhelp can report CSAE material or any content they suspect to be CSAE.
• A dedicated “Contact Us” button is provided within the app. Upon clicking, users will be prompted to provide a description of the issue directly to our support team via email at support@cmtyhelp.com.
• Reports will be handled promptly and reviewed by our team to ensure appropriate action is taken.
Blocking CSAE Content
User-Controlled Blocking
• Users can block any content they find disturbing or inappropriate directly on the community post page. Once a user blocks content, it will be immediately removed from their view to ensure a more comfortable and safe browsing experience.
• The blocked content will not be displayed to the user, ensuring that they are not exposed to potentially harmful or upsetting material.
Administrator Review and Action
• The community administrator will have the authority to review the content.
• Administrators can take further action by permanently removing the content from the community if it is determined to be CSAE-related or violates Cmtyhelp’spolicies.
• Administrators are responsible for ensuring that the content complies with community guidelines, and will take appropriate actions, including banning users from posting or reporting the material to the appropriate authorities, when necessary.
Administrator Control and Oversight
• Every community within Cmtyhelp is a closed community, each community has an administrator or multiple administrators who are responsible for adding, managing, and monitoring members.
• Administrators have access to reports and are required to investigate any flagged CSAE incidents promptly.
• Administrators are empowered to block members who post CSAE-related content or violate Cmtyhelp’s policies.
User Feedback and Escalation
• In cases where users continue to see blocked content (e.g., if it reappears after being reported), they are encouraged to escalate the issue via the “Contact Us” feature. This ensures that any persistent CSAE content is reviewed by the Cmtyhelp support team and acted upon swiftly.
• Repeated exposure to disturbing or inappropriate material may trigger an additional review by Cmtyhelp moderators and lead to more stringent measures against violators.
Blocking Content for Safety and Compliance
• Blocking CSAE content is an essential feature to ensure that users, especially vulnerable groups like children, are protected from exposure to harmful material.
• Cmtyhelp works proactively to prevent the distribution of CSAE and takes immediate steps to ensure any detected content is permanently removed from the platform. This is in line with Cmtyhelp’s commitment to maintaining a secure and lawful environment for all users
Safeguarding Children and Parents
Children Under the Age of 18
Encouraging Parental Supervision
• Cmtyhelp strongly encourages children under the age of 18 to use the platform only under the active supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
• To ensure that children’s activities on Cmtyhelp are monitored and appropriate for their age, we recommend that they join the platform through their parent’s Cmtyhelp account. This allows parents to oversee and control their child’s interactions and ensure they engage only with age-appropriate content.
Adding Children to Parent Accounts
• Children must be added to their parent’s Cmtyhelp account by the parent or legal guardian. This process ensures that the parent is fully aware of and can monitor their child’s interactions, posts, and overall activity within the community.
• Minors are permitted to use the Cmtyhelp App only with the express permission of their parents or legal guardian. This ensures that the child’s use of the platform is fully authorized and supervised, safeguarding against potential CSAE exposure.
